As a general rule I detest eMail, the crazy people who invented it should be put before a firing squad as far as I'm concerned because it is the one thing that wastes more of my day than anything else I do. That said, every once in a while I get an eMail that I actually enjoy clicking through the links it contains. One of my favorites is from a company called Visual Wilderness. They produce a newsletter called InFocus that includes 3 relatively short but informative photography articles that focus on some technical aspect of landscape and nature photography. The publication used to be much better before it was taken over by their in-house advertising for their educational products, but if you can overlook the disruptive ads, the articles are worth the time it takes to review them.
